Minutes

Meeting opened with Bill Hammond, Anita Cantrell, Tonya Castle, Tom Castle and Chad Williams present.

Chad Williams made a motion, Bill Hammond seconded, to approve the agenda.

Anita Cantrell made a motion, Tonya Castle seconded, to approve the minutes of the August 9, 2012 meeting.

Council amended the SEEK budget for 2012 -2013.

            Adding $3915.00 to make the total budget $36,491.00

            Add $1296.68 to code 0650

            Add $725.00 to code 0810

            Add $1893.32 to code 0739

Tonya Castle made a motion, Chad Williams seconded to approve the budgets as amended.

Anita Cantrell made the motion, Tonya Castle seconded, to approve the first reading of the policy updates. Alignment with state standards, curriculum and discipline.

Quarterly report.

Council reviewed 7^th & 8^th grade EXPLORE data.

New business

            28 targeted math students to be worked with.

            Boys’ Basketball boosters: Fund raising
